Bharti Airtel unveils new logo, reaches 200 mln customers

Bharti Airtel unveiled its new visual logo and branding for its operations in 19 African and South Asian countries. The operator also announced that it has crossed the milestone of 200 million customers. Airtel said its new look is "youthful, international, inclusive and dynamic – representing the journey of the first Indian brand to go truly global". The red colour of the logo "continues to represent the energy and dynamism that has made airtel the success it is today", while the new curved addition to the logo is "a symbol which will help ensure instant recognition across diverse international markets". The Airtel signature tune has also been refreshed by A R Rahman. For its customers in India, Airtel also announced that it's on course to launch its 3G services by the end of the year.
Zain's partnership with MultiChoice
Zain Ghana on Thursday inaugurated its partnership with MultiChoice Ghana that would enable customers to pay their Digital Satellite Television (DSTV) bills using its product Zap.
Zap allows Zain customers to enjoy certain services such as sending and receiving money, airtime and making purchases without carrying physical cash. view more
